Email us and a person replies — usually within one business day. Include your phone number as you entered it in the app, and, if it is about one agreement, the reference shown on its record.

They never got the signing link.
The link is yours to send — ChitSeal does not deliver it. Open the agreement, tap Share signing link, and send it however you normally talk to them. It opens in any phone browser; they do not need the app or an account.
They opened the link but cannot sign.
Signing requires a one-time code sent to the phone number on the agreement. If that number is wrong, the agreement has to be created again — a sent agreement cannot be edited, because the number is part of what gets sealed.
They signed. What now?
The moment the second signature lands, the record is sealed and neither side can alter it. Both of you see the same agreement from then on.

How do I check a seal is genuine?
Open the agreement and tap Verify integrity. Your phone recomputes the fingerprint itself and compares it with the public log — it does not simply ask our server whether everything is fine. Your device also keeps the log head it saw when you signed, and tells you if what we serve later disagrees with it.
Can I change a sealed agreement?
No, and neither can we — that is the point. If the terms genuinely change, record an amendment: a new agreement both of you sign, sealed in its own right and committing to the original.
What can I do if they still do not pay?
Escalate at your pace: a reminder that goes on the record, a formal demand letter written from the sealed agreement, then an evidence export for a small-claims filing. ChitSeal creates an enforceable record. It cannot make anyone pay.
Your account and billing
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your account and your agreements. If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to revoke that sign-in, so ChitSeal stops appearing under your Apple ID. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
I want a refund.
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, any credits it granted are removed automatically. Tell us if something looks wrong afterwards.
I changed my phone number.
Email us from the account you want to keep. Your number is how sealed agreements identify you, so we move it deliberately rather than letting it be edited freely.
What ChitSeal is not
ChitSeal never moves money — no transfers, no balances, no payments between you and the other person. It is not a lender, not a bank, and not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice. It records an agreement two people sign and seals it so it can be shown later. Whether a court admits that record, and what weight it gives it, is always for the court.
